Summary 0000497: Searchd crash segfault
Description Hello,

We are running r2248 and we apply the following patch :
http://www.sphinxsearch.com/bugs/view.php?id=489 [^]

We are using only rt indexes.

Few times a day, searchd crash without any log.
And we loose all non flushed data .

This is what we get in /var/log/messages

kernel: searchd[6830]: segfault at 75677fe8 ip 00000000005328a9 sp 0000000075677fe0 error 6 in searchd[400000+199000]

kernel: searchd[13818]: segfault at 7f551d1dfe18 ip 0000000000558a26 sp 0000000040f7b280 error 4 in searchd[400000+199000]

kernel: searchd[10518]: segfault at 7f22b1c40b20 ip 00000000005589e6 sp 000000004402a280 error 4 in searchd[400000+199000]

So we just try to run searchd in debug. It's about 5 time slower.
Searchd still not crash in the debug state.

Thanks

Hello,

I just get the following error with searchd with debug option.

I'm not sure if it's the same error.

searchd: sphinxfilter.cpp:50: virtual void IFilter_Values::SetValues(const SphAttr_t*, int): Assertion `pStorage[i-1]<=pStorage[i]' failed.
